You choose the photograph. We take it from there.
Send us a photograph of a person, pet, place or moment that matters. Our studio shapes it into a line composition, then a real pen draws the finished artwork in ink on paper.
Order your artwork
A few choices from you. The creative decisions from us.
You give us the meaning and the starting point. Our studio decides how that source becomes a strong line artwork.
You choose
The size — A4, A3, A2 or A1.
The photograph — the person, pet, place or moment you want us to work from.
The title — a name, date, place or short phrase to sit beneath the artwork.
We decide
The crop and composition — what belongs in the frame and how the eye moves through it.
The simplification and line system — what to keep, what to remove and how the subject becomes a drawing.
The final drawing decisions — after checkout, the work remains studio-led. No design proof or revision stage is included.
Eight clear steps. One artwork made for you.
The process is intentionally straightforward: you supply the photograph and a few details; we handle the interpretation and physical drawing.
Choose your size
Select A4, A3, A2 or A1 for the space — or the person — you have in mind.
Upload your photograph
Send the highest-resolution version you have, with the main subject easy to recognise.
Add your title
Give us the name, date, place or short phrase you would like beneath the artwork.
We review the source
Before production, we check that the photograph gives the studio a useful starting point.
We shape the composition
The studio makes the crop, simplification, composition and line decisions.
A real pen draws it
A pen plotter moves a real pen across the paper, physically drawing every line in ink.
We inspect and pack it
We inspect the finished drawing, then pack it unframed in protective packaging for delivery.
Delivery
Your artwork is delivered to you, ready to frame, display and enjoy in the place it was made for.
Not printed. Drawn.
Most personalised artwork sold online ends as an image sent through a printer. Ordered Lines works differently. The digital stage helps us compose the lines; the finished object is made when a real pen moves across the paper, drawing every line in ink.
Human designed. Machine drawn.

A clear subject gives us somewhere to begin.
You do not need a professional photograph. You do need an image in which the main subject is clear enough for the studio to understand and interpret.
Make the subject easy to recognise
Choose an image where the person, animal, building or place is visually distinct.
Upload the largest version you have
The original file usually gives the studio more useful information than a screenshot or compressed copy.
Keep the photograph natural
A clear source without heavy filters gives us more freedom to make considered drawing decisions.
One custom artwork, ready for you to frame.
The finished artwork is supplied unframed. A frame adds cost and bulk to delivery and is more vulnerable to damage in transit. Sending the artwork safely in protective packaging keeps delivery simpler and more economical, while giving you the freedom to choose a frame that suits your taste and the room where it will live.
Physically drawn
A real pen has drawn the artwork in ink on paper.
Made from your photograph
The composition is created specifically from the source you supplied.
Titled for you
Your chosen name, date, place or short phrase appears beneath the artwork.
Packed for delivery
The unframed artwork is placed in protective packaging before it is sent.
Questions before you order
The important details, without the fine print.
Is this artwork printed?
No. The composition is prepared digitally, but the finished artwork is physically drawn on paper with a real pen and ink.
What do I need to choose?
Choose your size, upload the photograph we should work from and provide the title you would like beneath the artwork.
Will I receive a proof before it is drawn?
No. After checkout, the studio makes the crop, simplification, composition and line decisions. A design-proof or revision stage is not included.
What subjects can I send?
People, couples, families, pets, homes, buildings, weddings, anniversaries and meaningful achievements are all suitable starting points.
Which sizes are available?
A4 is 210 × 297 mm, A3 is 297 × 420 mm, A2 is 420 × 594 mm and A1 is 594 × 841 mm.
Is a frame included?
No. The artwork is supplied unframed because a frame adds cost and bulk to delivery and is more vulnerable to damage in transit. Protective packaging keeps delivery simpler and more economical, and you can choose a frame that suits your taste and the room where the artwork will live.
Which photograph deserves a place on paper?
Choose your size, add your title and upload the photograph that matters. We’ll take care of the creative decisions from there.
