Your photograph, drawn differently
A physical artwork for the photograph that matters
A Custom Plotted Artwork begins with a photograph you care about: the dog who runs the house, the people you want close, the home you grew up in, or the day you worked hard to reach. Our studio decides how to crop, simplify and compose the image as a line artwork. A pen plotter then moves a real pen across the paper to draw the finished piece in ink. It is not a digital image sent through a printer.
How your artwork is made
- Choose your size. Select A4 (210 × 297 mm), A3 (297 × 420 mm), A2 (420 × 594 mm) or A1 (594 × 841 mm).
- Upload your photograph. A clear, high-resolution image with a well-defined subject gives the studio the strongest starting point.
- Add your title. Use a name, date, place or short phrase to appear beneath the artwork.
- Leave the composition to us. After checkout, the studio makes the crop, simplification, composition and line decisions. No design proof or revision stage is included.
- Drawn, not printed. A real pen draws every line in ink on paper. We inspect the finished artwork before packing it for delivery.

Why the artwork is supplied unframed
Frames increase the size, weight and cost of a parcel and are more vulnerable to damage in transit. We therefore send your artwork unframed in protective packaging. This keeps delivery simpler and more economical, and gives you the freedom to choose a frame that suits your taste and the space where the artwork will live.
Photograph guidance: Upload the highest-resolution version you have. Clear images with a strong subject, silhouette or sense of place give us the most useful source material.
